Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®)

Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) is a designation earned by a financial professional who specializes in retirement income planning. Financial professionals earn the RICP designation after following the program for retirement income professionals. RICPs offer specialized planning for retirees and near-retirees. To be considered for this designation candidates must have three years of prior business experience.

CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®)

The CFP® certification is one of the top generalist marks financial planners can earn. This high-quality, rigorous program covers a broad base of financial planning subject areas and trains certificants in the discipline of financial planning. CFP® is conferred by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®)

The CLU® designation is one of the oldest and most respected credentials in financial services, dating back to the late 1920’s. It represents a thorough understanding of a broad array of personal risk management and life insurance planning issues and stresses ethics, professionalism, and in-depth knowledge in the delivery of financial advice.

Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®)

A Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) is a professional designation that provides specialized education and training in the areas of investments, budgeting and retirement planning. The degree requires the completion of nine college level courses or 27 hours of college credit in the financial field. Applicants for this degree must have been working in the financial field full time for three years. Once the degree has been earned, continuing education credits continue to apply thereafter.
